Peter's team passed through scrutineering and have now headed off to the pre event briefing. There was a lot of discusion at the briefing about driving through villages in Africa and taking care. Due to the sandy conditions of the first stage Peter will be running with reasonably tyre pressures from the start. The car is pictured after scrutineering yesterday lined up in order with the other competitors cars. The Livescore.com livery is quite striking and certainly stands out from other vehicles. Peter designed this livery himself. We will have plenty of updates over the next 3 weeks, so keep watching the site for the latest news. Also make sure that you follow the progress of car number 405 on the official Dakar site at Dakar.com Ray

After Scrutineering Peter just back from the drivers briefing, many changes to the first stage. Some portugese competitors believed that after Km 60 was undriveable after 20 cars, they believed that the stage would have to be stopped at that point so the route has been modified.
