Breaking News The current stage has been shortened by 134km due to a bad sand storm which has caused the grounding of safety helicopters. Unfortunately for Peter Jerie the 2007 Dakar is all over. With major dramas happening on Stage 4 causing the team of Peter Jerie and Serge Bruynkyens to run out of time to make it to the check point. This has been very disappointing for Peter and the team, with this being his earliest exit from this famous event. On a high note the Livescore.com truck driven by Tomas Tomacek is setting some cracking top 10 stage times coming back from a first stage penalty of 5hrs. Tomacek is sitting in 23rd after 6 stages and will continue to improve. Newsflash Tomacek 3rd on stage 7 moving the Livescore.com truck up to 16th outright going into the rest day. Carlos Sainz is leading the event in the cars section and Coma is leading the Bikes. We will have to wait until next year for Peter to make it to the Pink Lake. Let's hope that the Bakermotorsport team can be on hand to help Peter achieve his dream. Ray
