Well 2007 is here and the rally season has already started. Lake Mountain Tango was held this weekend with the winner being Allan Simonson in a EVO 9 Lancer. Eli Evans came in 2nd in a WRX ahead of the White's in the Lambo. Cody Crocker was 4th in another WRX.

Lots more happening with the Minidulla rally on next weekend, not a round of any series but a good fun event. As defending champion I won't be defending the title and wish everyone well with the event down there.

We are still in uncertainty about the Land speed trials due to the amount of rain that has fallen in SA. Lake Gairdner has quite a bit of water in it at the moment and the roads getting into Mt Ive station are in terrible condition. Will have to keep watching the evaporation levels to see if it will happen. We are still preparing the car though.

Andrew and I went shopping today and brought a Daihatsu Applause for $100. This car will donate brakes and engine to the new 4 door Charade. Andrew also picked up an engine for his Laser, the one that I damaged last weekend:(.
