| Rally of Canberra is here again for another year. This year the team will be running the Shaw Vineyard Estate Lancer EVO 6.5 with Graeme Shaw driving. The car has been converted from Tarmac rally spec by Reliance Automotive and PCD Engineering over the last few weeks.
Graeme had his gravel initiation on Wednesday, having a test session with Rick Bates out at Hyles block. The main comment from Graeme was how unstable the car became on gravel at high speeds, and getting used to the surface changes and how much grip there was. Will be very steady over the first few stages learning what the grip levels are like.
The event kicks off in Garema Place in the City centre tonight at 6:30pm with the first stage on Saturday morning, the 28.8km Tidbinbilla stage.
We will be providing updates during the event on this website plus there will be results available at www.roc.com.au
