New Engine

The new engine is in the car, after quite a few late nights this week. Andrew and I have been working solid to get the engine ready. The new ceramic coated pistons are a work of art. They looked too good to put into an engine, they should be in the Museum of Modern Art.

With a bit of a deadline now that the car is going to be used in the Rallye des Femmes, Lisa Ridgley from Radio station Mix 106.3 in Canberra will be driving the car with Andrew Co driving.

Should be all running Sunday with Russell doing the new exhaust Monday and Tuesday. All we have to do is put the Shell oil in the car on Sunday, plus some gearbox oil and then give it a bit of a run.
