Seeing as the engine dramas were worse than we thought with the Subaru, I headed down and helped do a road closure on stage 7. I set up a static camera plus had the hand held camcorder so got quite a bit of footage. I will endeavour to upload as much as possible to Youtube over the next few days.

The event was won by Brad Goldsborough with an exceptional drive from Jeff David who had throttle problems on the first stage and lost about 22 minutes to Brad to end up less than 22 minutes behind him.

The roads looked awesome, with some fast bits joined by a few technical sections. Was great to see Wayne Bell having his first run in an Evo after Gerald's Escort decided it didn't want to be a rally car again:)

Well done to Mal Hurley for winning th modern class.
