The third round of the 2009 ACT Regional Rally series was run on Saturday the 23rd. Promoted by the BMSC, with new Sponsor "Appliance Installation" onboard, the event was a great success.

The Baker Motorsport team was heavily involved with Ray the Deputy Clerk of Course and Road Director, Andrew and Shane in 000 and Russ in Sweep. Tristan also helped to write the roadbook, Julie Lucas who was Clerk of Course is a regular in a team, competing in the 2006 and 2007 RDF as part of the team.

The event was won by Michael Barret and Tim Batten in the TTS Lancer EVO 6 from Mark Sessions and former Baker Motorsport Co-driver Matt Harriott.

The event was run over 140km competitive with the Mega Installation stage of 35km the longest being run twice. A very strong field headed by 4 times and defending Australian Champion Neal Bates as car 1, a good chance for Neal to blood his son Harry in the codrivers seat.

Steve Nightingale was so impressed with the running of the event that he will be sponsoring the event for 2010. This is great to see a new sponsor coming into the sport in such troubled financial times.
