With just over a week to go until the famous Bega Valley Rally, there is tension in the air. Notification from the event organisers today that the popular Shire stages have been canned for this year, replaced with 4 more forestry stages. Apparently there were some issues with the RTA permits that affected the Shire stages.

Tristan's new engine is being built by Tim this weekend and will be installed in the car on Monday. Hoping that with this new engine we can do well at Bega.

On another note, Tristan and I have bought a new car that we intend to compete in the Alpine Rally later this year. We will be heading down to Victoria in the morning to pick it up. It will be a big job to get it ready but we are confident that we will have a front running car for the event.

Several weeks after the Bega Rally is the Converga Safari in Canberra, this then starts off a large mid season break in which we will be able to build the new car.
