It's been a while since I updated the site, but now that we are well into 2011 I thought it's time to do an update.

Derek and Ray have been competing at the highest level possible in Australia, the Australian Rally Championship. now with 2 rounds completed the team have consolidated 1st in the Privateers cup and 1st Premier League as well as 2nd in class P5.

Rally Queensland which was run last weekend in the forests around Imbil, inland from the Sunshine Coast was a tough event. This being a round of the Asia Pacific Championship was classified as an endurance event. 1/4 points for each leg and 1/2 points for the final result.

Saturday was a tough day with a puncture and a broken radiator setting the team back, but perserverance and an excellent service crew kept us going for a 12th outright. Good points for the team considering the problems we had.

Sunday, 2km into Kandaga the 1st stage of the day we broke the radiator again plus the centre mount for the tailshaft. This meant that we crawled through the stages until the service after the 4th stage of the day. The awesome service crew from Dash Sport changed the tailshaft and the radiator and we only used 11 minutes of late time. This meant that we were still in the event.

Ended up finishing the Sunday in 13th, got some points and came out leading the Privateers and the Premier League and 7th outright.
